Nova Corsairs
Support and crash reports
Development builds can save a diagnostic report locally when they encounter an error. Sending that report is always your choice.
What the in-game report sends
If you choose Send report, the game sends its version, Godot version, platform, error details, source, function, line number, diagnostic stack, a report identifier, and any optional comment you write.
It does not intentionally send your save, profile, environment variables, machine identifier, or account credentials.
The service may process the connection address transiently to limit abuse, but does not retain the raw IP address, an IP-derived hash, or a truncated network prefix with the report. When available, Cloudflare may add coarse country, region, data-centre, ASN and network-organisation context, plus a Ray ID used to correlate the request. That optional context is restricted to the private report detail, is never included in notification emails, Worker logs, dashboard lists, or exports, and expires no later than the raw report.
If an authorised operator reviews an uploaded report, a private project-controlled dashboard retrieves it by report ID and builds deterministic diagnostic guidance locally. The report is not sent to an external AI analysis service or copied into the dashboard’s local waitlist database.
What you can do from the recovery screen
- Review and copy the diagnostic before sending it.
- Add an optional comment describing what happened.
- Open the local report folder.
- Send, restart, close, or leave the report unsent.
A native process crash cannot draw a recovery window after the process has already stopped. When possible, Nova Corsairs presents that report on the next launch.
Finding a report
Keep the report ID shown by the game if you want to ask about an upload or request its deletion. An upload helps diagnosis but does not guarantee an individual response.
